Survivor for iPad mini

Survivor for iPad mini

Ridiculously over-engineered? Or the perfect case for your iPad mini no matter where you're headed?

We think it's a little bit of both.

Simply put, the Griffin Survivor Case is the most protective case we've ever built.

Tested and certified to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F, Griffin's Survivor Military-Duty Case is designed from the inside out to protect your iPad mini from extreme conditions ... dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration and a host of other environmental factors.

Survivor is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in rugged, shock absorbing silicone. A built-in screen protector seals your Multi-Touch display from the outside environment, while hinged plugs seal the dock connector, camera lens, headphone port, hold switch and volume controls. The included stand clips on, then folds open for landscape viewing and typing.

Survivor is independently tested and verified to meet or exceed environmental testing standards for blown rain, blown dust and grit, vibration, shock, temperature and humidity. You can view videos and test results online at www.griffintechnology.com/armored.

I left my ipad 2 in your suvivior [sic] case on my car roof as i headed home from cambridge ma to cape cod, it stayed on for 15min of driving speeds of up to 50mph as i worked my way to the infamous Mass pike. But even that rubber case couldn't grip the roof at 65++mph! As I heard it flip off the roof I caught sight of it spinning behind me trying to catch up but givin my speed and its deceleration the survivor did a 90 Degree turn across 3 lanes and came to rest under the guard rail near the backside of fenway. Unable to stop, the survivor continued to protect and serve thoughout the night and next day untill it was retrieved by my trusted friends who were with me the previous day! With no damage to the pad and only a cracked rubber corner of the case, I am amazed and will be a faithful GRIFFIN client for years to come!
